This is a well protected walled garden very near to the Prayagraj (Allahabad) Junction station which was built in the 17th century. Anand Bhavan is the residence of the former Nehru Family which was now been transformed into a museum which shows historical and articles of the period of the Independence Movement of India. Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru made the planning and strategy to finish British Raj on this mansion. Inside the mansion there lies personal relics, preserved books and pictures belonging to the family of Nehru which has become Indian history and heritage of it. Here, the marriage was held in 1942 of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It is also the place where every hour educational shows took place at Jawaharlal Planetarium. This Museum is the National level museum of India which is located in the Chandra Shekhar Azad Park. In the museum there are historical paintings, sculptures, artifacts and pictures lie across galleries of the museum.
