This temple was created by Lord Brahma to appease his angry wife, Goddess Savitri. As per the legends goddess, Savitri was upset that the Yagna that Lord Brahma had started at this place was done without her and with the help of a local girl called Gayatri. Lord Brahma married Gayatri and this angered goddess Savitri. She cursed Lord Brahma that no temple will be built in his name. Pushkar has the only Brahma temple for this reason.

This is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built in the 12th century. It was later destroyed by Aurangzeb and rebuilt again by many devotees. Goddess Saraswati is the wife of Lord Brahma. She symbolizes art, knowledge, music, and wisdom. This is also one of the important pilgrimages in Pushkar that is flocked by many devotees every year.
This temple is built in the South India style of architecture and has pagodas and gopuram. It is dedicated to Lord Rama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is located on a hilltop and gives a panoramic view of the Puskar city.
