Hot springs, also called thermal springs are hot water emerging from under the ground. Sometimes the temperature is moderate, ideal for bathing and swimming but sometimes the temperature could be as high as boiling point. The heat gets transmitted from the hot molten lava in the crust to the underground water and comes out in the form of hot water jet or springs. Often hot water springs exist bang in the middle of freezing locations as a miracle.
