Greek people are often known to share food while they eat. And Greek sharing means fewer people with large proportions of food. So you might see while having a dinner with a freak family that four people have three large portions of food. Large proportions are meant to be shared with each other so don’t be embarrassed if you come across the same situation it is very common in Greece to eat this way.
If you are on a tour of Greece and want to travel across the car then you surely need a driver’s license. For American tourists, an international license is a must to rent a car while for other foreign countries, just the native driver’s license will do the work. So do not forget to bring your driver’s license in Greece.
You might be wondering about the strikes that happen from time to time in Greece. Strikes have the possibility to cancel your public transportation reservation. But don’t worry as there is always an alternative. Strikes can happen just like any other country but it will not affect you in any way. There are numerous tourist places you can visit in Greece. Sothe first thing to do is not to skip visiting these beautiful destinations. However, these places tend to be closed in the offseason. You might want to consider ferries for going to different islands but it not the best idea. A ferry might cost less but it will take a huge time to travel. Where it takes 7 to 8 hours in a ferry, it only takes less than an hour on the flight. So just book the tickets and hop on your flight to get to the mainland.
You will see many red burns on people here as the sun is too strong. It is essential to bring a sunscreen of your own rather than purchasing in Greece as they are so expensive. So if you don’t want to look all-tanned do not forget to carry a sunblock and apply it multiple times a day without fail.
Greece is a lovely country where you can go sightseeing. Along with enjoying just tourist places, you can also have the privilege of being invited to a Greek family. The environment of the Greeks is so hospitable that you will love them.
