This temple lies approximately 1 mile from the Ujjain railway station and it’s few miles away from Mahakaleshwar temple. There is one rule of learning Sanskrit as well as astrology in this temple. 3. Harsiddhi Mata Mandir Ujjain Madhya Pradesh

It is renowned for famous Shakti Peeth amongst all our country. It lies near Shipra River in Ujjain.  The idol of this temple is very beautiful and amazing. It gives a devotional feeling when you see the god. There are in all 3 Goddess one on top of another god. The names of 3 goddesses are Annapurna and Maha Saraswati. It was believed that King Vikram Aditya was a great devotee of this temple.  Outside the temple, there lies two pillars pin shaped which when lightened gives an amazing look due to its lit.

Ujjain is well known for temples and unique places to visit in Ujjain tourism. One of the astonishing temples of Ujjain is this temple. The name itself signifies it is a place where you can visit all the four Chardhams – Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath. It lies just beside the Mahakaleshwar temple. There could be a possible time changing during festivals. The distance from the railway station to this is about 11.882 Km. The visitor can arrive at this place via private vehicles or any means of transportation in approximately 30 minutes.

5. Sandipani Muni Ashram Ujjain Madhya Pradesh

It is one of the ancient and renowned ashrams at Ujjain city. It is called “Sandipani” as it is named after the great saint or Maharishi Sandipani. Maharishi Sandipani was the Guru of Sudama, Balram and Lord Krishna.  Inside the ashram, there are temples which are truly dedicated to Lord Shiva and this temple is unique from other Lord Shiva’s temple because inside this temple Nandi is standing in front of Lord Shiva. There is a resource of water supply to this ashram from ancient times called “Gomati Kund”. Footprints of Bhagwan Shri Krishna are also there in this ashram.

6. Kaal Bhairav Mandir Ujjain

Everyday miracles occur at Ujjain city. Kaal Bhairav Mandir is the temple of Lord Bhairava situated in Bhairavagarh of Ujjain and gives a sense of calm and peace after visiting there. Its 8 km away from the main city. Kaal Bhairav Mandir is renowned for removing planetary barriers. There is Shivalinga in this temple which attracts thousands of visitors to this religious place.

7. Gad Kalika Mandir Ujjain Madhya Pradesh

Gadkalika Mataji Temple is another Shakti Peeth in Ujjain City. Here, Mata Kalika is worshipped daily and it is believed that upper lip of Devi Sati was fallen at that place. It is located 2 miles away from the city place. The idol of Gadkalika Devi in the temple is different from other Kalika’s idol as it is saffron in color instead of black color.  The Famous Poet “Kalidas” was a big devotee of this idol and he had written all about this by the only grace of this goddess on him. Inside the temple lies the ancient idol of Ganesha.

What Is The Best Time To Visit Ujjain?

The Ujjain Weather is different for all different seasons. The best time to visit this holy city is from October to March when the Mahakaleshwar Temple can be visited while other places like Bhartruhari Caves can be visited in the months of November and December during cool winters. The summer season lasts for 4 months from November to February. This is a very amazing season with extremely cold days. Maximums generally last in mid-twenties. It experiences extreme weather throughout the year. The winter is cold and icy here while summers are extremely hot here at Ujjain. Monsoons last from June to September in this city.
